Multi-objective Facility Location-allocation Problem for Mixed Environment of Continuous and Discrete Random Fuzzy Variables

چکیده
In this paper it is assumed that there are two types of customer demands. Demands of the first type are discrete fuzzy random variables with a poison distribution and the second are continuous fuzzy random variables with a normal distribution. In this problem the distribution centers (DC)s, are selected and allocated in a way that not only the total transportation cost of the problem is minimized, but also the preferences of customers in linguistic terms are considered for the decision making stage. Hence, the minimization of transportation costs is assumed as the first objective and maximization of the overall customer satisfaction level, as the second. The fuzzy continuous and discrete demands are initially defuzzicated using chance constraint method and then for optimizing such a problem the Normalized normal constraint method is used. Consequently a set of nondominated solutions called as the Pareto frontier is generated. To illustrate the procedure of the proposed method, a numerical example is solved and a sensitivity analysis is performed. *Correspondence Author CIE42 Proceedings, 16-18 July 2012, Cape Town, South Africa © 2012 CIE & SAIIE 174-2

A multiobjective continuous covering location model
This paper presents a multiobjective continuous covering location problem in fuzzy environment. Because of uncertain covering radius, possibility of covering concept is introduced.Since, the uncertainty may cause risk of uncovering customers; the problemis formulated as a risk management model. The presented model is an extension of the discrete covering location models tocontinuous space. Two ...
متن کاملA Nonlinear Model for a Capacitated Location-allocation Problem with Bernoulli Demand using Sub-sources
This study presents a capacitated multi-facility location-allocation problem with stochastic demands based on a well-known distribution function. In this discrete environment, besides the capacitated facilities, we can employee the capacitated sub-source of each facility for satisfying demands of customers. The objective function is to find the optimal locations of facilities among a finite num...

Facility location-allocation models are used in a widespread variety of applications to determine the number of required facility along with the relevant allocation process. In this paper, a new mathematical model for the capacitated multi-facility location-allocation problem with probabilistic customer's locations and fuzzy customer’s demands under the Hurwicz criterion is proposed. متن کاملA hybrid solution approach for a multi-objective closed-loop logistics network under uncertainty
The design of closed-loop logistics (forward and reverse logistics) has attracted growing attention with the stringent pressures of customer expectations, environmental concerns and economic factors. This paper considers a multi-product, multi-period and multi-objective closed-loop logistics network model with regard to facility expansion as a facility location–allocation problem, which more cl...
